Accounts Receivable Analyst (Contract)

Please note: This is a 100% remote opportunity and you can work from any location within India.

Duration of contract: 1 year

The opportunity:

We are looking for Analyst (Cash Application), Accounts Receivable with a key focus on cash applications and reduce outstanding AR balances. The Analyst (Cash Application), Accounts Receivable is responsible for ensuring Cash Applications in timely manner and as per TAT as well as reduce unapplied/advance/suspense balances. Further he/she is also responsible to work with the team to set appropriate internal financial control of payments against advances and suspense amount for appropriate reporting of financials.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure AR roll forward balances recon of CRM, out of CRM and fusion matches;



• Download daily bank statement and create receipts


• Post and allocate payments /ACH & Wire Payments or different modes of payment (PayPal, Hyper wallet, etc.)


• Perform desktop deposits including GL transactions and allocations


• Process credit card transactions and reporting


• Process refunds


• Process prompt pay and bad debt adjustments


• Reduce advances and suspenses


• Understand Compliance and maintain highest level of professionalism in customer interactions


• Handle basic operations in boundary systems like Oracle Fusion, CC charges etc.


• Basic understanding of FX markets


• Data scrubbing and ability to prepare simple reports


• Statutory and legal compliance including ad-hoc cross functional reporting requirements

• Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field and 2-3 years of relevant experience in managing international clients


• Advanced knowledge of AR processes and sub-processes


• Advanced skill in excel and power point presentation.


• Understand basic Financial & Banking functions


• Strong communication skills and capable of handling internal and external stake holders
