Assistant Manager Finance Account

We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Manager for our Record to Report (R2R) function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role within a listed company, having implemented Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (C.A.) with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) setup, preferably within the service industry, and active involvement in SOX audits are essential attributes for this position.

For this critical role, we are looking for someone to bebased in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office once a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and within the stipulated timeframes.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial records and safeguarding of company assets.
• SOX Compliance: Lead and coordinate SOX compliance activities, including risk assessments, control documentation, testing, and remediation of deficiencies.
• Audit Management: Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and efficient completion of audits and resolution of any audit findings.
• Financial Systems: Ensure the effective use and management of financial systems, driving continuous improvement and automation of processes.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis to drive business decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, tax, treasury, and legal, to ensure alignment and support for financial reporting objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the companys compliance with all relevant requirements.
