Job Description
- You will be a part of the Core automation team at Cadence, where we value hiring and nurturing leaders and innovators who are passionate about driving technological advancements. As an IT4 professional based in India, you should hold a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer or Electronics, coupled with a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to specialize in System Administration, focusing on platforms such as Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, and Cent OS. Your expertise should encompass kernel tuning, Linux image modifications, and Open-source compilations. You will be involved in the installation, configuration, and administration of RHEL 4.x/5.x/6.x/7.1, SLES 10/11/12, as well as handling System Builds, Server builds, Installs, Upgrades, Patches, Migration, and Troubleshooting tasks.
Additionally, you should possess a strong command over administering LDAP, DNS servers, and hands-on experience with Python, Dockers, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible and Puppet is essential, along with a solid understanding of networking concepts and hardware support. Your ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, collaborate with team members, and maintain a professional demeanor will be crucial for success in this role.
Moreover, familiarity with Foreman, Elk, Grafana is preferred. Your key responsibilities will involve automating operations to manage Unix infrastructure globally, working on automation projects, and facilitating global rollouts.
