Job Description

Job Title: Marketing & Sales Intern

Location: Mysore

Duration: 12 Months

Stipend: As per company policy

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Marketing & Sales Intern who is interested in learning B2B sales, industrial marketing, and customer engagement. The intern will assist in identifying potential customers, supporting sales activities, and helping generate qualified leads for industrial equipment and engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation

  • Research potential customers in food processing, pharma, and manufacturing industries
  • Identify companies that may require processing equipment or fabrication services
  • Collect and maintain a database of prospects

2. Customer Communication

  • Reach out to potential clients through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Introduce company products and services
  • Schedule meetings for the senior sales team

3. Market Research

  • Study competitors and market trends
  • Identify new industries or regions where products can be sold
  • Prepare simple market research reports

4. Sales Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations
  • Follow up with customers regarding quotations and enquiries
  • Maintain CRM or lead tracking records

5. Digital Marketing Support

  • Assist in LinkedIn outreach and basic content posting
  • Support campaigns for promoting company products

Skills Required
  • Good communication skills (English and regional languages preferred)
  • Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Interest in sales, marketing, and customer interaction
  • Ability to research companies and industries
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Preferred Candidates
  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / MBA students
  • Mechanical / Industrial / Marketing background preferred
