Cadila - Senior Manager - Purchase - API

- Manage procurement of APIs, raw materials, and solvents based on production and project requirements.

- Develop and maintain an approved vendor base, ensuring availability of regulatory documentation such as COA, MSDS, and other compliance requirements.

- Oversee demand planning, MRP execution, Auto-PR review, and ensure timely material availability to support production schedules.

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, safety stock, and monthly consumption planning to ensure supply continuity and cost control.

- Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, contracts, and credit terms to achieve cost efficiency.

- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Finance, and Project teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

- Ensure on-time delivery of materials, shipment tracking, and proper documentation including COA, MSDS, LR, BL, and AWB.

- Proactively resolve supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and urgent procurement requirements.

- Drive budget planning, cost control, and SCM reporting to support management decision-making.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the SCM team, ensuring performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

- Develop alternate vendors for monopoly suppliers and critical materials in line with internal specifications to mitigate supply risks.
