Job Overview

Were hiring a Product Design Lead to champion design excellence across every surface of the CAFU experience.

As a Product Design Lead, youll take end-to-end ownership of the design function at CAFU. Youll guide product design across mobile, web, and internal platforms supporting experiences that span logistics systems, field operations, customer apps, and brand-driven campaigns. Youll partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing to create world-class user experiences that are functional, scalable, and visually distinct.

This is a player-coach role. Youll lead a growing team of designers, evolve our design systems, shape brand expression, and stay deeply hands-on in high-impact work. Youll bring vision and execution together u2013 ensuring CAFU not only meets user needs but leads on digital product aesthetics and usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the product experience across the ecosystem
  Own end-to-end product design for all CAFU surfaces: B2C apps, pilot tools, B2B portals, and live operations dashboards. Collaborate with PMs and engineers in cross-functional squads to deliver elegant, high-performing UX for both consumer and internal use cases. Drive user-centric design in complex domains u2013 logistics systems, agent workflows, localization, and integrations with third-party platforms.


• 
  Guide the team, process & design culture
  Lead and grow a player-coach design team, managing both in-house and outsourced designers. Shape and run design sprints from research and discovery through prototyping, validation, and production handoff. Foster a culture of feedback, critique, and experimentation across product and design.


• Advance CAFUs brand in product form
  Maintain and evolve CAFUs design system in close partnership with engineering. Ensure brand cohesion and accessibility across platforms and partners, including co-branded integrations and campaigns. Explore ways to evolve visual identity to reflect product maturity, speed, and sophistication.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2+ years in a design leadership or player-coach role.
• Proven ability to own design across consumer, internal, and operational platforms.
• Strong foundation in both UI aesthetics and UX architecture u2013 you balance polish with performance.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product environment with tightly coupled design-engineering collaboration.
• Proficiency in Figma, user testing tools, and structured research-to-delivery workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills u2013 you can influence decisions and unify product, engineering, and brand around a single experience vision.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Experience in mobility, logistics, delivery, or platform-based ecosystems.
• Experience localizing products for multiple countries/languages.
