Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDP (Chef de Partie) specializing in continental cuisine at CALCUTTA 64, located in IIT Kharagpur.The role involves preparing and plating high-quality dishes, overseeing kitchen operations in the continental section, training and mentoring kitchen staff, maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards, and ensuring efficient inventory and stock management. The CDP will also collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and innovate menu items.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in preparing and presenting continental cuisine with attention to detail and creativity
• Proficiency in kitchen operations, food preparation, and stock management
• Effective leadership, team collaboration, and staff mentoring skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety regulations, and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistency in quality
• Formal culinary education or certification is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a professional kitchen setting
• Passion for food, creativity in dish development, and a customer-focused mindset
