Job Description
- As a backend developer at Capgemini, you will play a key role in designing and implementing backend solutions using .NET (Framework/Core) and AWS services. Your responsibilities will include developing and deploying serverless and containerized applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, etc.), writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews, and enforcing best practices. Additionally, you will debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments, work closely with cross-functional teams, guide junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Maintaining technical documentation throughout the SDLC will also be part of your role.
Qualifications required for this role include strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, along with hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2. You should have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, as well as familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, unit testing frameworks, and TDD/BDD practices is also essential.
