Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role involves collaboration with various teams to support and enhance our cloud-based solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and resources including IaaS, PaaS, VPC, VNet
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other tools.
• Monitor and assist in managing virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage solutions.
• Assist with deployment and management of Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and other PaaS offerings.
• Automation and Optimization:
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other tools to streamline cloud operations.
• Implement Automation for patching, monitoring, backup, DR (ASR), Antivirus scanning

• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce security best practices and policies for cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage identity and access management using Azure Active Directory and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Incident and Problem Management:
• Respond to and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and issues to meet promised SLAs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and other IT teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on Azure best practices and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud operations.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features, services, and industry trends.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure functions and Azure Active Directory.

  Get Hired
  Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
