Job Description
- Role Overview:
As an Embedded Firmware Tester at Capgemini, your role will involve utilizing your knowledge of embedded systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, and hardware interfaces like SPI, I2C, and UART. You will be responsible for testing firmware, ensuring its performance and functionality meet the required standards. Additionally, you will work with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Linux-based embedded platforms, using debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have a basic understanding of programming languages such as C or C++
- Utilize version control tools like Git for managing codebases and collaborating with developers
- Write test scripts in Python or Bash to automate regression and stress testing
- Demonstrate knowledge of communication protocols
- Explain complex technical issues clearly to developers, managers, and stakeholders
- Collaborate across hardware, software, and QA teams to ensure product quality
- Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in fast-paced development cycles
- Think creatively and logically to troubleshoot and improve firmware performance
Qualifications Required:
- 6 to 9 years of experience in embedded firmware testing

- Strong knowledge of communication protocols
