Your Role
- Analyze and review business requirements, including high-level and low-level designs, ensuring accurate implementation
- Develop and validate provisioning procedures, MoPs (migration/upgrade), and configuration templates in lab environments before production rollout
- Deliver solutions across lab, pre-production, and production environments, followed by smooth handover to operations teams
- Take end-to-end ownership of the platform lifecycle, including commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and decommissioning
- Collaborate with design engineers, test engineers, and vendors to validate features, performance, and integration
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and traffic analysis using mirroring and diagnostic tools
- Automate routine network deployment and configuration tasks using NETCONF/YANG models and Python
Your Profile
Must-Have Skills
- Nokia NRS II certification (or strong equivalent industry experience)
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- Nokia 7750 SR platforms
- Strong expertise in IP networking and routing/switching, including:
- MPLS, LDP
- IS-IS, MP-BGP
- VPN services (VPLS, VPRN)
- QoS (Quality of Service)
- EVPN
- Proven ability in:
- Debugging, packet capture, and traffic mirroring
- Designing and troubleshooting complex service provider networks
Advantageous Skills
- Knowledge of:
- Firewall technologies
- Spine-Leaf data center architecture
- VXLAN overlays
- Familiarity with network automation using:
- NETCONF/YANG models
- Python scripting
- Exposure to large-scale telecom or service provider environments
