What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organizations software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases, and websites to achieve the organizations internal needs and externally facing business needs.

Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications.

Accountabilities:

• Good understanding of SAP financial integration within Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
• Have an intimate knowledge of supply chain solutions and other capabilities enabled by SAP.
• Providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to business stakeholders
• Configure SAP systems within the SAP FICO module along with working across all FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Product costing, Marginal Analysis etc.,)
• Develop finance solutions that enhance and extend Cardinal Healths investment in SAP.
• Mentor and develop SAP teams and provide SAP related advice to various groups within Cardinal.
• Develop highly effective working relationships with other IT and Business teams within and across business units through flawless execution and open, honest, direct communication.
• Have an enterprise perspective and help others to understand broad implications of decision making.
  
• Overall thought leadership in SAP.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Charted Accountant
• 10+ years of SAP FICO and Integration experience
• SAP S/4 Experience
• SAP experience in SAP FSCM, Treasury and Risk Management (1-2 implementation experience)
• Minimum 4+ years Integration experience with Non-SAP systems
• Experience with cash flow reporting

Highly desired:

• Experience with SAP archiving and application performance management
• Experience collaborating in global/geographically diverse teams
• Experience in logistics and/or healthcare sectors
• Process oriented - grasps process flows and can translate them to Business impact.

Must be driven to seek intent, draw meaningful conclusions and drive value

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
