About The Team
The Central Partnerships team works across all Careem verticals and markets, with a focus on developing and managing strategic relationships that drive value for both Careem and our partners. We build lasting collaborations with organizations across multiple sectors, acting as a central point of coordination to drive growth through high-impact partnerships.
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Partnerships Manager to join our Central Partnerships team, based in the UAE. In this role, youll focus on initiating and managing partnerships that support Careems business goals across verticals, with a particular focus on the UAE while supporting regional needs. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute partnership opportunities end-to-end—from prospecting and negotiation to implementation and performance tracking.
What Youll Do
This role combines two key functions: Partnership Development and Operational Execution.
Partnerships Duties
  • Strategic Sourcing : Identify, approach, and close partnership opportunities with a primary focus on banks and financial institutions. Explore non-financial sectors (e.g. Telcos, Entertainment, FMCG) as secondary opportunities to support broader business objectives.
  • Account Management: Serve as the key point of contact for partners, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring alignment with Careem’s objectives. Drive partner engagement, performance, and satisfaction through proactive communication.
  • Partnership Planning: Design and implement strategic partnership plans aligned with company and business vertical goals. Focus on creating win-win propositions that deliver tangible value for both Careem and our partners.
Operational Duties
  • Implementation: Lead end-to-end execution of partnership campaigns, coordinating closely with marketing, legal, finance, analytics, and product teams.
  • Data & Reporting: Take ownership of campaign reporting and performance tracking. Be comfortable working with data, conducting pre- and post-campaign analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Maintain seamless coordination with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of partnership goals.
  • Tools & Documentation: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to build business cases, analyze campaign data, and present findings effectively.
What You’ll Need
  • Strong academic background with 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or a similar role, ideally within the UAE.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving end-to-end ownership of partnerships—from ideation to execution and performance review.

    Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach—comfortable interpreting data and using it to inform decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude: self-starter, resourceful, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
