Finance Accountant (From TEXTILE/TOYS/ MANUFACTURING)

About The Opportunity
A dynamic, growth-focused organization in the textile, toys, and manufacturing sector is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Accountant to drive accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency in financial reporting. We operate across high-volume production environments and require a finance professional who can navigate complex cost structures, manage supplier/vendor accounting, and support cross-functional finance workflows in a fast-paced manufacturing ecosystem. Role & Responsibilities

• Record, reconcile, and classify day-to-day financial transactions including payables, receivables, payroll, and inventory-related entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cost reports, and variance analyses specific to manufacturing units and product lines.
• Manage vendor and supplier invoice processing, TDS compliance, GST returns, and ensure timely payments within agreed credit terms.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness by maintaining accurate ledgers and internal controls for production and overhead costs.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to track PO-to-payment cycles and reconcile material cost variances.
• Ensure compliance with statutory audits, internal controls, and industry-specific financial regulations for manufacturing operations.
  

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
• Tally ERP 9 or similar accounting software
• GST Compliance & E-Invoicing
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Cost & Management Accounting
• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
  

Preferred

• Experience with MIS reporting in manufacturing or FMCG
• Knowledge of SAP Business One or Oracle Financials
• Basic understanding of inventory costing (FIFO, Weighted Avg)
