Paint Process Engineer

Key Skills: Manufacturing Process, Process Analysis

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control paint shop manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and throughput
• Manage process zones such as Sealer, Primer, and Top Coat, maintaining standard operating conditions
• Maintain and review process parameters (temperature, flow rate, humidity, etc.) for optimal paint quality
• Coordinate with the maintenance and automation teams for timely issue resolution
• 
  Conduct paint film quality checks to ensure adherence to DFT, gloss, and appearance standards
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and control plans to support production stability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM
• Support new model introduction including fixture validation, paint booth calibration, and SOP development
• Work with PLC and automation systems (Siemens S7 / Allen Bradley, HMI/SCADA) for process control
• Review paint shop RFQs and coordinate installation and commissioning of automation projects

• Strong understanding of paint shop manufacturing processes

  Get Hired
  Hands-on experience in Sealer, Primer, and Top-Coat process zones
• Deep knowledge of paint quality parameters (DFT, gloss, appearance, adhesion)
• Expertise in monitoring and controlling process parameters (temperature, humidity, flow rate, etc.)
• Experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and cost reduction
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and control plan development
• Experience working with PLC automation systems (Siemens S7 / Allen Bradley) and HMI/SCADA
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and cross-functional coordination with maintenance
• Experience supporting new model introduction / automation commissioning (preferred)

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics
