Specialist - Accounting And Compliance

Key Skills:Month-end close activities, General ledger maintenance, accrual entries, Account reconciliations, Intercompany account handling and reconciliations, Financial analysis and reporting, Statutory and internal audits, Process improvement in Finance & Accounting, Internal controls review, Experience with analytical tools (Qlik, Power BI), Proficiency in MS Excel, Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion, Business combinations (added advantage).

Responsibilities:

• Process and support month-end close activities.
• Maintain the general ledger, record accrual entries, and other transactions.
• Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations for key accounts as assigned.
• Work with intercompany owners to resolve intercompany out-of-balances at the consolidation level.
• Review and analyze consolidated financial information.
• Support multiple Corporate Finance & Accounting projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
• Review internal controls and processes and look for continuous improvement.
  
• Independently handle statutory and internal audits.

Requirements:

• CA/ CPA Background with experience in US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience in managing period-end close processes and closing books of accounts.
• Experience in processing journal entries, invoices, month-end journals, and reconciliations.
• Experience in handling intercompany accounts and intercompany reconciliations.
• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in working with analytical tools like Qlik, Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.
