Senior Manager - Regulatory Compliance

Role Overview:

Cashfree Payments is looking for a Senior Manager – Regulatory Compliance with a strong analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be someone with deep expertise in the Payments ecosystem, specifically regarding Payment Aggregators (PA). You will play a critical role in interoreting complex regulations and ensuring our business flows remain complaint with RBI and NPCI mandates

What You Will Do:

• Monitor, interpret, and analyse circulars, notifications, and guidelines issued by RBI and NPCI, and provide actionable impact assessments to business and product teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for product teams, ensuring that new products and process flows are designed in compliance with regulatory requirements and guardrails.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance with the Master Directions applicable to Payment Aggregators, Cross-Border transactions, and PPIs.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives and represent the function in regulatory discussions.
• Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and manage internal and external compliance audits.

What You Will Need:

• Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience with 2 years of mandatory experience in online Payments domain
• Strong working knowledge of RBI regulations with hands-on experience in regulatory implementation.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex regulations and assess operational impact
• Clear and confident communication skills to present compliance requirements to diverse stakeholders
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify compliance risks early and recommend practical mitigations
