BankKaro aims to create a one-stop solution, that helps customers find the best financial product for their needs. We are starting with Credit Cards and Loans, but will move to other products soon also.
Job Role

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Support the budgeting process by assisting in the preparation of budgets, monitoring actual expenses against budgeted amounts, and analyzing variances. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost control.
• Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and invoicing. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and financial modelling. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk. Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies. Coordinate internal and external audits, provide necessary documentation, and address audit findings.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information and analysis to internal stakeholders, such as senior management and department heads. Assist in preparing presentations and reports for executive-level meetings.

• Systems and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement in financial systems and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhance efficiency.
  

Must have skills:

• Qualified CA /CA Inter
• Minimum of 06 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
• Hands on experience in transitioning, stabilizing and improving business processes
• Must have proven experience in managing the P2P, Cash management, closing, accounting, and reporting processes
• Solid understanding of accounting, financial statements, budget and forecasting processes and internal control procedures
• Build strong relationships with senior management & non-financial staff
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills
• Good level of computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel and Finance & Accounting software)
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity, excellent judgement, analytical skills, and good interpersonal skills
• Good Negotiation skill and general commercial acumen
