Data Analyst (dbt & Looker)

The Data Analyst (dbt & Looker) role is crucial to any organization that aims to harness data insights for informed decision-making. As a Data Analyst (dbt & Looker), the candidate will work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and software engineers, to identify and implement data-driven insights and recommendations. The candidate will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data profiling, data quality checks, and data validation. They will participate in code reviews and design sessions to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions. The candidate will also identify and implement improvements to existing analytics processes, infrastructure, and tools. The candidate will need to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in analytics and data engineering.
Requirements

• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
• The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Looker and Airflow
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with proven experience communicating highly technical information to a variety of audiences

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to develop and deploy analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Understanding of data profiling, data quality checks, and data validation.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Looker or PowerBI.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
