Job Description
- You will be responsible for managing and leading project management staff, ensuring that they are assigned roles and responsibilities according to their expertise and experience. It will be your duty to make sure the staff is fully informed about the project execution plan and adheres to project requirements, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will supervise individual employees and/or subordinate supervisors, mentoring the team and providing direction for a seamless delivery from project initiation to closeout.
As the main point of contact for the client, you will liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors on all project matters. Your responsibilities will include reviewing Civil/MEP Services Design proposals, tender documents, and engaging in value engineering exercises. You will independently handle various aspects of project management such as cost certification, quality management, schedule and budget management, and closeout management.
Furthermore, you will be accountable for identifying and tracking performance, coaching, training needs, and motivating team members. You will also oversee hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation of staff. Your role will involve directing all phases of project management, focusing on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
In addition, you must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the company's corporate governance policies and procedures and ensure adherence within your work group. You will be responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout. It will also be your duty to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing the preparation of reports, maintaining relationships with industry associates, vendors, and professional organizations. Furthermore, you should have experience in Corporate fit-out projects and proficiency in MS Projects. You should possess supervisory and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in teams, resolve issues promptly, and work in multifaceted environments. Creative thinking, innovation, and strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role.
You will provide formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area, approving recommendations for staff recruitment, promotion, corrective action, and termination. Additionally, you will plan appropriate staffing levels, prepare performance appraisals, and mentor team members to enhance their competencies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Architecture

- MBA in Project / Construction Management (full time) preferred
- 6 to 10 years of prior experience
- Corporate client experience is essential
