Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled and experienced MySQL developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in database development. As a MySQL developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining MySQL database solutions that cater to our organizational needs.
Your responsibilities will include database design and modeling, where you will design and implement database structures, tables, and relationships. Additionally, you will perform normalization and optimization of database designs. You will also be tasked with query optimization, writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, and identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in database queries.
In database development, you will develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions while ensuring data integrity and security through proper data handling practices. As part of database administration, you will perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and indexing, monitor database performance, and implement improvements.
You will also be involved in data migration, planning and executing data migration tasks between different environments, ensuring data consistency and integrity during migration processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, documentation of database architecture, processes, and procedures, troubleshooting and support for database-related issues, and implementation of database security best practices are also key aspects of this role.

To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a MySQL Developer. Strong proficiency in SQL programming and query optimization, experience in database design, modeling, and normalization, knowledge of database administration and maintenance tasks, and familiarity with data migration and integration processes are essential. Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and knowledge of the Java programming language are required. Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Spring or Hibernate is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also important for this role. Knowledge of other database systems is considered a plus.
