Job Description
- You are invited to apply for the position of Data Engineer at our company based in Bengaluru. As a Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of data across our data ecosystem.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. You should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in SQL and one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala is required. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or DBT is considered a plus.
Candidates should be adept at working with relational and NoSQL databases and be familiar with big data tools like Spark and Hadoop. A sound understanding of data architecture, modeling, and warehousing principles is highly valued. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role.
