Job Description

As an experienced audit professional, you have the opportunity to unlock your potential by joining our Commercial and Investment Banking Audit team. Based in Mumbai with a focus on North America Commercial Investment Banking Dodd-Frank/Volcker Compliance Audit team, you will play a crucial role in audit engagements, conducting and documenting audit testing, and collaborating closely with global Audit colleagues and business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will involve enhancing internal controls through your judgment, gaining a comprehensive understanding of key CIB central functions, and navigating the Dodd-Frank/Volcker regulatory landscape.

You will be part of the North America Commercial Investment Banking Compliance Audit team, which oversees audit coverage related to Commercial Investment Banking's regulatory compliance controls, including Dodd-Frank swaps, security-based swaps, Volcker regulations, and other areas in global, product-aligned, and/or legal entity-aligned audits. Engaging across various Lines of Business and Corporate Functions will be essential for certain processes and controls.
Your key responsibilities will include participating in all audit activities, collaborating with senior auditors and audit managers, identifying emerging control issues, offering recommendations to strengthen internal controls, and actively pursuing self-development opportunities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating technical competency, and staying updated with regulatory and industry developments will be critical aspects of your role.

To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of internal or external auditing experience, a Bachelor's degree or relevant financial services experience, and proficiency in internal audit methodology. Strong analytical skills, interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to learning and development are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant or equivalent, Certified Internal Auditor, or holding an Advanced Degree in Finance or Accounting, along with exposure to Dodd-Frank/Volcker regulatory compliance processes.
