Job Description
- You are being sought after to join a global team as a Legal Operations Analyst in the Case Oversight & Administration Team within the Legal function at JPMorgan Chase. Your role will involve handling the initial assessment, case intake, and data management for litigation. The Case Oversight & Administration Team (COAT) is known for its collaborative and inclusive nature, and you will be responsible for reviewing legal and non-legal documents, conducting research, applying policies, interacting with staff, creating reports, and analyzing data in a fast-paced environment. Your decisions will be based on legal knowledge and business understanding.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Learn to examine and prioritize legal and non-legal documents to determine whether they should be managed by the Litigation Department or routed to another area of the business.
- Conduct detailed research using internal and external systems to comprehend customer relationships related to potential litigation.
- Keep electronic case files updated with matter initiating documents and any additional documents served to the Firm.
- Learn to identify urgent issues and escalate them promptly to management when necessary.
**Qualification Required:**
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- All candidates for a role in the Legal Department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment.
If you have legal experience, strong English language skills, a working knowledge of banking and finance, and familiarity with US law and regulations regarding the financial industry, your application will be considered favorably.,
