Job Description
- As a member of the Loan Data Extraction team specializing in institutional real estate clients at Chatham, you will have the immediate opportunity to partner with talented subject matter experts, work on complex projects, and contribute to the value Chatham delivers every day. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing and extracting data from various real estate source documents, such as loan agreements, promissory notes, and guarantees, which is crucial for accurately modeling debt portfolios for clients. Your expertise will ensure that all data is complete, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects and client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively using strong verbal and written skills to convey complex ideas related to data extraction and quality assurance.
- Complete internal training modules to enhance skills required for efficient data extraction.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Post Graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial document processing, credit analysis, loan operations, or a similar field.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is crucial to avoid errors when extracting loan terms, interest rates, borrower details, and covenants.
- Understanding of Loan Documents: Familiarity with credit agreements, promissory notes, and term sheets is essential for accurate data interpretation.

- Data Entry Speed and Accuracy: Efficiently input data without mistakes for smooth downstream processing and compliance.
- Critical Thinking & Pattern Recognition: Analytical mindset is needed to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or red flags.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to convey information to team members and stakeholders clearly.
- Real Estate Familiarity: Experience with institutional real estate data or clients is a plus.
