Job Description
- As a Technology Lead specialized in Network Security at Check Point OS Group, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in Linux technology. You will be responsible for planning and designing intricate architectures while constructing Check Point Secure Operating System alongside its various user-space services, interfaces, and backend components.
Your key responsibilities will revolve around researching, designing, and implementing OS features and infrastructure at various stages of the development lifecycle. You will be tasked with developing network management and monitoring capabilities from the UI perspective, along with the creation of a remote API framework and additional functionalities to enhance the OS backend. Collaboration with different teams and stakeholders within Check Point will be crucial as you work towards measuring, analyzing, and enhancing existing code to optimize performance and functionality.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with a proven track record as a Lead Software Developer. A deep understanding of Linux internals including user-space processes, daemons, boot process, etc., is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Web Servers, monitoring systems, network drivers, and Linux processes is highly desirable. An extensive experience of more than 16 years in developing large-scale systems is also a key requirement. Proficiency in JavaScript and Python would be advantageous, and prior experience in Linux kernel development is considered a plus.,
