Position Purpose
We seek an experienced Software Developer to join our young and rapidly growing team of Brambles Digital. You are going to work with highly qualified and passionate engineers who are driven to see the impact of their work making a difference. You will be responsible for delivering highly scalable, consistent and reliable engineering product.
If you are passionate about learning then you will get chance to learn and innovate Micro-service architecture, IOT solutions, and Enterprise applications.

Major/Key Accountabilities

• Designing, implementing and enhancing new components
• Code reviews and helping the team in writing good code.
• Work through all phases of the project lifecycle - requirements gathering, designing solutions, building new interfaces, integration with existing architectures, development and testing code.
• Able to understand & explain the scope & impact of the features developed
• Participate in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions
  
• Communicate and collaborate with product, QA, UI/UX and management teams
• Documentation of all modules owned
• Should be able to look at the issues find the root cause for it and resolve it with minimal support
• Should have good knowledge of BRIX components their working, limitations etc.
• Should have good knowledge of AWS services being used in project.
  

Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science with emphasis on distributed systems and Big Data architectures is a plus.
Experience
35-year experience in software industry.
Skills And Knowledge

• Proficient in multiple programming languages preferably Scala
• Experience in leading junior engineers
• Experience in Full stack development
• In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of object-oriented analysis and design
• Experience in algorithm design and complexity analysis
• Communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical teams
