Regional Legal Manager - HL

Summary:

This role involves independently managing and overseeing legal matters across one or more states, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, mitigating risks, and driving efficient debt recovery. The ideal candidate is a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise in financial services law, capable of handling complex litigation and advisory functions autonomously

Role & responsibilities

• 
  Oversee litigation processes, ensuring timely resolution of disputes.
• Visit customers and provide legal support to collection team on field
• Warrant execution, Notice serving, etc
• Take legal action as applicable to reduce and control bad debt.
• Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to inform legal strategies.

• Candidate must have experience in handling mortgage products
• SARFAESI Act knowledge and experience is mandatory
• Is willing to visit field locations
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end legal processes for mortgages, including property laws, secured lending, enforcement of security interests, and recovery proceedings. Proven track record in independently managing multi-state legal portfolios.
