Job Description
- The key purpose of the Zonal Sales Manager - West (SME) position based in Mumbai is to drive business growth for SME by formulating and executing zonal sales strategies. This includes ensuring the achievement of branch sales targets, maintaining portfolio quality, and leading high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate should have a Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing with a minimum of 12 years of experience in sales and marketing of LAP / SME. Strong exposure to credit evaluation, portfolio risk management, and market analysis is essential. The candidate should also possess a proven ability to handle large and diverse field sales teams.
Key responsibilities of the role include developing and implementing zonal sales strategies to enhance market share and profitability, monitoring branch performance, sales targets, portfolio credit quality & collection efficiency, and driving business through DSAs, connectors, and direct channels in the zone. The Zonal Sales Manager will guide and mentor Regional Managers to achieve branch-level sales & cross-sell targets, manage key customer & partner relationships including HNI clients and DSAs, recruit, train, and motivate sales teams, identify training needs, and ensure capability building. Additionally, the Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining NPAs within prescribed limits through proactive monitoring and corrective actions.
