Job Title :- Chemical Engineer
Job Location :- Taloja
Job Accountabilities:-
Daily plant round to check the abnormalities in plant & reports to Shift Manager
Inform field upsets to panel Engineer/Shift Manager
Isolation of any equipment for maintenance & safe hand over as per specified procedure
Chemical Addition
To ensure housekeeping in plant
To follow the field checklist for required action
Stop/Start of equipments /lines after maintenance / trouble shooting
To Carryout/Supervise preventive maintenance
To check the Jacketed lines heating and taking corrective action
Transferring of PA/HBR/LBC from one vessel to another
To check field instrumentation and reporting the abnormalities
To take actions as per emergency plan during emergencies
To monitor, control & report environmental issues and maintaining effluents within specified limits
To assist Shift Manager during shift operations
To monitor & control product quality & maintain its parameters
To ensure to follow safety practices & SOPs during operations & report unsafe safety incidents in overall plant
To achieve production targets in a shift as per production plan
Trouble shooting in the plant on the DCS Panel
Executing Plant start-ups and shutdowns as per procedures
Monitoring alarms in DCS, Parameter Trends, reporting in case of abnormality and taking corrective actions in
DCS
To coordinate with Service department
To Check lab analysis report and take corrective actions with help of field person / Shift In charge
To provide panel training for new engineers
To maintain trip locks as specified procedures
To achieve production targets in a shift as per production plan
Qualification, Experience & Desirables
Degree in Chemical Engineering with 4-5 yrs of experience in Petrochemicals, Fertilizers or Organic Synthetic
Plants.
Should possess good communication skills.
