As part of our dedicated vertical focused on the Government and utility sectors, you will play a critical role in driving Cienas strategic direction and growth in these industries. You will be at the forefront of this transformation, helping electricity boards and utilities transition to advanced IP networks.
Your Role
  • Drive bookings and revenue growth by targeting Indias top 5-10 strategic PSU accounts (including PGCIL, Railtel, Gailtel, and BSNL).
  • Effectively position Ciena solutions by developing a deep understanding of PSU priorities and citizen-impacting initiatives.
  • Leverage expertise in government bidding processes and SI partnerships to secure new business.
  • Build and execute winning account strategies, utilizing strong techno-commercial skills and a proven track record in large system sales within complex organizations.
  • Collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
Education / Experience Required
  • Minimum of 14+ years of Sales Quota carrying experience, knowledge of Optical networks is essential. MBA would be added advantage
  • Proven experience driving large system sales within the Indian PSU market.
  • Deep understanding of government bidding processes and experience collaborating with SIs.
  • Strong techno-commercial skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business benefits.
  • Exceptional account strategy development and execution skills.
  • Highly motivated and influential self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
