Data Analyst

What Youll Do
The Cisco Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) team located within Cisco Information Technology is looking for a hands-on data analyst/engineer to support the Data & Analytics organization.
You will work closely with recurring metrics product owners and business stakeholders to develop solutions to compute recurring metrics, complete data assessment, and data engineering solutions for generating recurring operational metrics in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:

• Works with business stakeholders to understand product capabilities.
• Collaborates with recurring metrics product team to complete data assessment using SQL to extract data from Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF).
• Documents solutions to build or change metric computation business rules.
• Grooms proposed solutions with data engineering team.
• Supports on-demand data extracts to meet business needs.
  

Who Youll Work with:

, You will be working with a team of data product owners and other data engineers to formulate, assess and help develop data related solutions to enable Cisco of recurring business metrics, including iACV. You will also be an active participant in validating the metric data working with Finance & other cross functional teams.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of working with Databases.
• 8+ years of SQL experience.
• 5+ years of XLS or other spreadsheets
• Experience with ML/AI technologies is desirable
• Experience with GCP, Postgresql and Teradata.
• Experience with Tableau and other Reporting tools.
• Experience with creating User Stories & grooming with engineering.

• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Experienced working with teams across multiple time zones
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Process oriented with great documentation skills.
• Understanding of ETL processes is required.
• Understanding of designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems.
