Job Description
- As a Principal Technical Product Manager at Cisco, you will have the opportunity to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of products that harness hyperscaler technologies and AI capabilities. Your role will involve owning the network solutions product roadmap, prioritizing AI-driven opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to translate market needs into actionable product requirements. Your impact will extend to providing expert guidance within and outside the organization, shaping multi-year product strategies, and ensuring seamless integration of hyperscaler technologies into product offerings.
Your responsibilities will include defining, analyzing, and prioritizing network-related product features, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and maximize impact in AI-driven networking. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective communication and collaboration among various teams within the organization to ensure alignment on product vision and execution. You will also play a key role in refining product management practices, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency in delivering networking and hyperscaler-based products.
The minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in networking, cloud deployment, or software development. Additionally, you should have 6+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, with a track record of managing products involving cross-functional collaboration. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Data Center Network Architecture, proficiency with AI configurations, and a solid background in networking protocols, server architecture, and storage systems. Excellent communication skills tailored to networking initiatives and a proven ability to drive quality initiatives are also desirable qualities for this role.
