Commercial Loan Underwriter

What role you will play in team: You will play a crucial role in our commercial lending team by meticulously evaluating the creditworthiness of businesses seeking loans.

What you will do: You will analyze financial data, assess risks, and make sound lending decisions aligned with our risk appetite.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze financial statements and business plans of commercial loan applicants.
• Assess credit risk and determine loan eligibility.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and memos.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• 
  Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and economic conditions.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in commercial loan underwriting.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant banking and regulatory frameworks.
