Job Description
- As a Python SME (Automation Developer) within the Analytics and Information Management (AIM) team at Citi, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data quality automation solutions using Python. Your responsibilities will include understanding requirements, implementing data quality automation processes, writing and optimizing Python scripts, and enhancing ETL processes to ensure accurate data integration and transformation.
You will be utilizing Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark for data manipulation and processing, along with analyzing data sets to identify quality issues, trends, and anomalies to provide actionable insights for improvement. Additionally, you will be collaborating closely with data analysts, data engineers, DQ testers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data quality automation and Python development, with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Alternatively, 7 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields is also acceptable. An advanced degree would be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data quality automation processes
- Write and optimize Python scripts for data quality initiatives
- Enhance ETL processes for accurate data integration
- Analyze data sets to identify issues and provide insights for improvement
- Maintain documentation of data quality processes and standards
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, pyTest)

- Knowledge in SQL is an added advantage
