Junior Engineer (Civil)

City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow invites applications for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) for Lucknow location. This is a full time Position with on-site & off-site roles.

Construction is a major vertical at CMS, with multiple large projects always going on simultaneously. The position shall be responsible for supervising the financial aspect of Civil construction discipline. The incumbent shall be responsible for the efficient and effective financial reports for construction activities relating to Civil & Structural work, dealing with the contractors and for meticulous reporting to the Management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Candidate should have minimum 3-5 years experience in Civil Construction.
• Candidate should be well-versed in drawing interpretations & in guiding technicians to work as per MEP Drawings.
  
• Candidate should be competent in interpretation of Technical Specifications & ensuring work at site as per approved Technical specifications.
• Candidate should be well versed with the billing, costing & estimation of building construction Projects.
• Candidate should be aware about best/long standing market products available for civil construction.
• Candidate should be able to prepare item wise BOQ of civil work & certifying Contractors Bill accordingly.
• Candidates should be aware about relevant IS or other codes for civil works & should ensure work as per approved Codes, Specifications & Standard Construction Practices.
• Candidates should be well informed about Local Government Rules and Regulations for civil works & should implement those regulations at site in time.
• Candidate should have the basic knowledge of AUTOCAD and shall supervise the projects from designing stage to the execution stage.
• Ensure that hazards are identified, risks assessed, control measures planned and implemented in consultation with relevant employees.
• Regularly conduct Health & Safety Executive (HSE) meetings, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite walks.
