Job Description
- You will be working as an Assistant Merchandiser supporting wear garments such as lingerie, shapewear, and compression wear. Your primary responsibilities will involve collaborating with the design team to develop innovative support wear garments that align with brand identity and customer preferences. You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, optimizing sales strategies, managing vendors and supply chain, overseeing inventory operations, and coordinating cross-functionally within the organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the design team to create functional and innovative support wear garments.
- Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to develop samples that meet quality standards.
- Analyzing sales data and market trends to optimize product offerings.
- Developing merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales performance.
- Communicating with vendors to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials.
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouses to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Maintaining accurate product listings, descriptions, and pricing across all sales channels.

- Assisting in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Business, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, design, or sales within the support wear garment industry. Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and technical aspects of support wear is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Excel, merchandising software, and design tools (Adobe Illustrator preferred). You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
This is a full-time position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, flexible schedule, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shift and morning shift at the in-person work location.
