Job Description


We are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of technology and customer-service orientation, dedicated to ensuring smooth and efficient operations of our IT systems. You will be the primary point of contact for employee technical support issues, ranging from software installations to hardware troubleshooting. Success in this role requires a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a relentless pursuit of improving IT solutions. You will be enhancing user experiences and reducing downtime by maintaining and managing IT infrastructure while providing solutions that align with company standards.


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees regarding hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company network.
  • Monitor and maintain systems, including regular check-ups and reviewing system updates.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly to service issues and requests within established timelines.
  • Document issues and resolutions accurately for future reference and training purposes.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and ensure record accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless technology integration and support.
  • Ensure IT security through regular updates and monitoring of security protocols.
  • Provide training and support to employees on new software and hardware systems.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT policies and best practice guides.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers to maintain service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting roles.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, network management, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively assist and guide users in IT matters.
  • Knowledge of IT security measures, cyber threats, and risk management strategies.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are an asset.
