Vice President Business Support SkyCargo

As Vice President of Business Support (SkyCargo), you will lead the SkyCargo Business Support function which is the central owner for business support capabilities, Insights & Analytics (Business Intelligence), Data Science, Training, and Systems. The Vice President of Business Support will be accountable to lift maturity and to drive standardisation within these capabilities, to inform strategic planning, operational efficiency, and business transformation at SkyCargo. This approach ensures process optimisation, seamless operations, and sustained growth.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the BI & Analytics strategy and drive the use of data and insights to support business leaders in refining strategies, improving processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction globally.

• Define the overall strategy and direction for SkyCargos Data Science capability, leading the deployment of advanced analytics, predictive models, and AI-driven insights to support functional heads in maintaining a competitive advantage and enabling strategic decision-making. Act as the principal liaison with related teams such as Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA), ensuring enterprise-wide alignment is in place on data strategies and solutions for complex business challenges.
• Accountable for Data Governance within SkyCargo, ensuring data integrity and a single source of truth across dashboards to support critical business decisions. Directing the Training Compliance team to monitor operational training compliance in consultation with SkyCargo Operations teams.
• Define and execute a future-proof technology strategy to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency. Overseeing key initiatives while ensuring SkyCargo system performance, governance, and compliance are established.
• Direct and deliver transformative initiatives through technology and innovation by defining and executing SkyCargos technology strategy to support digital transformation, , ensuring system performance, governance, and compliance while keeping SkyCargo agile and competitive.
• Define and oversee global training programs aligned with SkyCargo strategic goals and future workforce needs in collaboration with the SkyCargo functional heads, while leading the evolution of the skills framework to foster continuous learning and operational excellence.
  
  

• Bachelors Degree or Honours with 12+ years of experience in Logistics/Cargo. Other
• Experience in the airline or cargo Industry, a majority of which should have been as a functional head developing and implementing strategies.
  
  

• Sound understanding of global regulations governing trade and the aviation industry.
• Good financial and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and background in analytics within a business context.
