Retail Banking Tech PM

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting projects within the Technology Division, specifically within the Retail Technology team. The role involves overseeing project delivery timelines and budgets, ensuring prompt escalation of deviations, and maintaining clear communication and decision support for stakeholders. The incumbent will also manage project documentation, organize governance meetings, and facilitate effective cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.

Key Result Areas:

• Program & Project Management: Lead and/or support project managers assigned to Technology projects within the Retail Technology domain.

• Planning & Execution: Monitor the development, testing, and implementation of business requirements to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.



• Governance & Reporting: Track and report project status, risks, and issues under the assigned scope of work, ensuring visibility to all relevant stakeholders.

• Framework Compliance: Ensure adherence to the organization s project management framework, including stage gates, documentation standards, and maintenance of artifacts in the central project repository.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across teams, departments, and vendors to ensure alignment and smooth execution of deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business, or Engineering).

• Minimum of 6 years experience in the banking industry with a focus on technology or project management.

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) preferred.

• Proven experience in portfolio or program management within a banking technology environment.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
