Job Purpose
Legal Counsel
Key Responsibilities
Draft and vet legal pleadings, communication, notices etc.
Draft, vet and negotiate contract including attending meeting with business.
Conduct legal research and prepare case note including opinions.
Represent company along with business to courts / law enforcement office.
Brief lawyers, senior advocate, experts, government agency etc.
Partnering with Business team for smooth legal operation.
Conduct legal awareness session for non-legal person.
Assist in driving transformation journey digital.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 PQE (2-3 practice as lawyer in court)
Maximum 10-15 years (with experience with corporate legal department).
Experience / depth knowledge of

• Substantive including penal law
• Criminal & Civil procedure law
• Contract, Legal Metrology, Employment, Property, Media & Advertisement.
• IBC, Data Privacy law and Competition law (Preference).
  

Preferred Qualifications
Law Graduate (LL.B / LL.M) and CS (added advantages)
