Online MIT App Development Tutor - US Shift

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Online MIT App Developer Tutor during the US shift. The tutor will guide and mentor students in developing MIT App projects, explain coding concepts, and provide support through interactive online classes. Responsibilities include fostering a student-focused learning environment, evaluating progress, and maintaining regular communication with learners and appropriate Codeyoung team members.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Databases and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Experience with Integration of software components and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to teaching young learners
• Ability to work flexible hours corresponding to the US shift
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience teaching coding or app development, particularly in a virtual environment, is a plus
• Compatible with a night shift timing from 2:30 am to 7:30 am.
