Coforge - Scrum Master/Scrum Lead - SAP

We are looking for an experienced SAP Scrum Master or SAP Scrum Lead to drive Agile delivery across SAP implementation and transformation programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Activate methodology, Scrum practices, SAP implementation, cutover activities, stakeholder management, and multi-vendor environments.
The candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery, managing Scrum ceremonies and artifacts, removing delivery impediments, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of SAP programs across multiple teams and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile & Scrum Leadership:
- Lead Agile delivery teams working on SAP implementation and transformation programs.
- Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
- Ensure effective adoption of Scrum principles, Agile practices, and SAFe methodologies across project teams.
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile values, principles, roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
- Help teams become self-organizing, collaborative, and delivery-focused.
- Identify and remove impediments that may impact sprint and program delivery.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, dependencies, risks, and overall delivery health.
SAP Implementation & Activate Methodology:
- Apply strong knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology across SAP implementation and transformation programs.
- Understand SAP implementation lifecycle, project phases, deliverables, dependencies, and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure alignment between Agile delivery and SAP implementation activities.
- Coordinate activities across multiple SAP modules, workstreams, and project teams.
- Support planning and execution of SAP releases, milestones, and critical project deliverables.

SAP Cutover & Go-Live:
- Lead and coordinate SAP cutover activities across business, functional, technical, infrastructure, and third-party teams.
- Develop and maintain cutover plans, timelines, dependencies, and readiness trackers.
- Coordinate cutover rehearsals, mock cutovers, go-live readiness, and post-go-live activities.
- Track critical dependencies, risks, issues, and actions during cutover and go-live.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across all teams during critical implementation milestones.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology, SAP, and program leadership teams.
- Work effectively in multi-vendor and multi-time-zone environments.
- Coordinate with internal teams, implementation partners, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Facilitate effective communication across geographically distributed teams.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and delivery status to senior stakeholders.
- Proactively identify stakeholder concerns and drive timely resolution.
RAID & Project Governance:
- Maintain and manage RAID logs covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
- Track action items, ownership, timelines, and resolution status.
- Identify delivery risks and dependencies and escalate them appropriately.
- Support project governance, reporting, and management reviews.
- Ensure project documentation, Scrum artifacts, and governance deliverables are maintained accurately and consistently.
Scrum Artifacts & Delivery Management:
- Ensure effective management of key Scrum artifacts, including Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment, Sprint Goals, Release Plans, and Burndown/Burnup Charts.
- Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
- Track sprint and release commitments and proactively address delivery risks.
- Use Agile metrics and dashboards to monitor team and program performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 - 20 years of overall experience, with significant experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Strong experience working as a SAP Scrum Master, SAP Scrum Lead, Agile Lead, or similar role.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Good knowledge of SAP modules and SAP implementation processes.
- Proven experience in SAP implementation, transformation, and/or rollout programs.
- Hands-on experience managing SAP cutover and go-live activities.
- Strong understanding of Scrum roles, events, ceremonies, and artifacts.
- Strong experience managing RAID logs, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and action items.
- Experience working in multi-vendor and multi-time-zone environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with large, complex, cross-functional SAP programs.
- Strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities.
Certifications:
- Candidates with relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Agilist / SAFe Scrum Master, or other recognized Agile/Scrum certifications will be preferred.
