Junior Software Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, bug fixes, and feature enhancements of the existing LabVIEW-based Shermap application.
• Support the migration from LabVIEW to .NET, working closely with senior engineers.
• Optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing needs.
• Participate in validation, testing, and debugging for both the legacy and migrated platforms.
• Work in a cross-functional team environment to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and support.
• Experience with yield analysis software (e.g., Yield Watchdog) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to travel to the U.S. as required for knowledge transfer, training, and collaboration.
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or Computer Engineering (CE), Math & Statistics.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in software development (Fresh graduates with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply).
  

Skills

• Proficiency in C#/.NET (WPF, .NET Core), and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
• Basic understanding of LabVIEW is a plus (training can be provided).
• Proficiency in software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience in developing data visualization tools, heat maps, and wafer test data analysis dashboards.
• Familiarity with image processing libraries such as Emgu CV/OpenCV is a plus.
• Familiarity with data handling, merging, filtering, and visualization is preferred.
• Good problem-solving abilities and a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally if needed.
