Job Description
As a Software Test Engineer at Comcast, you will be responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing the codebase to ensure the best entertainment and online experiences for millions of customers. Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with business analysts to ensure user stories are testable and documented in Azure DevOps
- Creating and executing regression tests, including automated tests using Visual Studio, Selenium, and other tools
- Developing and executing test plans in Azure DevOps to validate functionality in custom applications
- Identifying and documenting bugs using TFS with detailed steps to reproduce defects
- Testing web services using Fiddler or Postman
- Writing automated test code following coding standards to enable repeatable and reliable testing solutions, maintaining the automation codebase in a version control system (GIT, SVN)
- Creating automated testing documentation such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports
- Analyzing and repairing broken test cases, and performing code reviews of automation scripts and front-end codebases
- Serving as a guide and mentor for junior-level engineers, providing technical leadership and consultation
- Demonstrating independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
You will also be expected to:

Education: Bachelor's Degree
While a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, Comcast also considers applicants with a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
