Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, multi-workstream development project within the built environment.

The role involves managing a combination of new build, refurbishment, and external works, requiring careful coordination, sequencing, and stakeholder management. This is a senior, delivery-focused position, well-suited to candidates experienced in managing projects with multiple interfaces and live operational considerations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project through design development, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Manage multiple workstreams and interfaces across the programme
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and senior stakeholders
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and specialist packages
• Manage programme, cost, quality, risk, and change control
• Oversee sequencing and logistics to ensure smooth delivery
• Chair project meetings and provide clear, structured reporting
• Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and HSE requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• 15+ years experience in project management within the built environment
• Proven experience delivering complex projects with multiple workstreams
• Experience managing phased delivery or projects in live environments
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Consultancy / PMC or client-side experience preferred
• Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, or similar) are an advantage
