Vacancy NoVN13473 Job TitleAzure Systems Administrator Office LocationIN-Gurgaon Alternative Office Location About the RoleThe Azure Systems Administrator will be managing Infrastructure resources hosted in Azure and will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and optimizing the resources, follow best practices, ensure availability, performance, security, backup & recovery, and DR. Your Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities and Technical Skills:
Manage and Configure Azure Services: Administer and configure Azure services such as Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Backup.
Azure VMware Solution (AVS): Manage and configure Azure AVS environments, enabling VMware workloads to run on Azure seamlessly.
Monitor Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of Azure services, including Azure AVS, identifying and resolving issues related to resource utilization, availability, and performance.
Security & Compliance: Ensure proper security and compliance measures are in place, including role-based access control (RBAC), identity management, and network security policies, with specific knowledge of security practices in Azure AVS.
Automation & Scripting: Automate repetitive tasks using Azure Automation, PowerShell scripts, or ARM templates to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup strategies, ensuring data protection and business continuity using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Azure resources, including Azure AVS and other cloud resources in a timely manner.
Cost Optimization: Monitor Azure resource usage and work with the team to optimize costs, ensuring resources are appropriately scaled to meet business needs.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with DevOps, security, and network teams to align Azure infrastructure with development and operational needs. Provide regular status updates and reports on system health and usage.

Proficiency with change management processes and technical documentation Qualifications / RequirementsA total of 3-5 years of Systems Administration experience
At least 2 years of Azure related experience
At least 3 years of System Administration experience in at least 2 technologies - Windows Server, VMWare ESXi, Red-Hat Linux
Strong Windows Server and Red-Hat Linux (Windows 2008 2022 and RHEL 7.x and above)
Knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere and Azure VMWare Solution (AVS).
Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery and Azure Archive Storage.
