Technical Product Manager

About the Company - We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to own the roadmap and execution for scaling, optimizing, and modernizing our global platform. The global platform powers the front-end web application and distribution systems, and provides a broad set of developer tools for the worlds most respected and influential media properties including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Self, GQ, The New Yorker, Cond Nast Traveler / Traveller, Allure, AD, Bon Apptit and Wired. You will be responsible for ensuring the platform can handle explosive growth, delivers exceptional performance, and remains at the cutting edge of technology. You will work closely with engineering, design, architects and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that empower our partners and delight our users.

About the Role - Responsibilities include:

• Front End Websites & product Management experience is must.
• Roadmap Planning & Development: Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that aligns with business goals and addresses key platform challenges.
• Product Development & Execution: Own the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, collaborating with a cross-functional team on documentation, backlog management, sprint planning, and execution to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

• Scalability Planning & Implementation: Lead the planning and implementation of scalable solutions to support rapid growth in traffic, data, and user base. Ensure the platform can handle peak loads and maintain optimal performance.
• Architecture Innovation: Collaborate with architects on evaluating emerging technologies and architectural patterns. Propose and implement innovative solutions to modernize the platform and ensure it remains competitive and future-proof.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineering, design, product, marketing, and business teams. Communicate product plans, progress, and results clearly and concisely.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze platform performance data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Develop and track key metrics to measure the success of product initiatives.
• User Advocacy: Deeply understand the needs of our stakeholders and users. Champion their needs throughout the product development process.

Qualifications -

• 5+ years of product development experience in media, social media, content creation, e-commerce, or editorial publishing, with a focus on scaling platform products.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills: front-end development, web services, API design, scalable web architecture, React, and design systems.
• Proven ability to deliver and enhance high-performance platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in SEO and page performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Github, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
