Accountant - Required Urgently For A Travels Company In Dubai

Requirement:
We are looking for an independent Accountant with minimum Bachelor Accounting Degree qualification and 5 years of travel industry experience (must) to handle complete accounts and finance responsibilities of the company located in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform book keeping and accounting records up to date includes general accounting functions such as Petty cash, Bank, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations and confirmations (Suppliers, customers, Banks etc), and month-end accrual preparation.
2. Handling of Accounts receivables and Accounts Payables, Cash, Bank, Fixed assets register etc including reconciliation and confirmations periodically.
3. Compliances – Vat, Corporates taxes, Banks, Governments Department, IATA, Airlines etc..
4. Preparation of Financials statements -Balance sheets, Profit and loss statements, and other reports as per the accounting standard and IFRS.
5. Assisting Auditors - Internal Audit, Statutory Audit or any other Audit.
6. Regular and Periodical review and reporting – Quarterly MIS etc..
7. Budgeting, Forecast and analysis.
8. Any other ad hoc reports required from time to time.
Salary : As per Industry standard.
Note:
Candidate who meets the above criteria along with UAE experience, working experience with E-Travel software and who can join immediately will have an added advantage.
