Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager – :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations, drive financial reporting excellence, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have deep technical accounting knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing processes and maintaining financial integrity.
The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller or Director of Finance and will manage accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

-Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

-Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

-Manage the external audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules.

-Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions and new business initiatives.

-Support strategic financial planning and forecasting processes.

-Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, and HR teams to ensure accounting practices align with business goals.

-Mentor and develop the accounting team, promoting professional growth and a high-performance culture.

-Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

-Stay updated on changes to accounting standards and regulations, and ensure company compliance.

Qualifications/Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

-CA certification (strongly preferred); CMA or MBA is a plus.

Experience:
-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

-Experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments (preferred).

-Experience with ERP systems
Skills:
-Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

-Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

-Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

-Strong leadership and team management abilities.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
